Managing Director
Dave originally started work in the factoring industry in 1988, a year after graduation, and has been part of its evolution over the last 17 years. Dave spent most of the 90s with Lombard NatWest, rising into Sales Management with a team of 20 across the South of England. During that period, Dave arranged over £250 Million of receivables and asset based debt, including a number of high profile buyouts and public company re-financings.
Dave joined GE Capital in 2000 to help launch their high-profile, large-scale Asset Based Lending operation in the UK. In January 2004, Dave and Postern Executive Group conceived the idea of establishing a specialist Asset Based Lending advisory firm and Dave became a founding Director of Postern Advisory.
Since that time, the Company has handled a number of re-financing and buy-out mandates for both public and private companies, both in the UK and on a Pan-European basis. Dave has acted as the lead advisor on the buyout of Advantage Healthcare, the £9million re-financing of a leading UK Auto Parts Distributor and a variety of other transactions. Dave is also the Litmus specialist in Asset Based Lending applications for the private equity community.
